This Latin American food truck has been around for a really long time now. Previously known as the Lainez Stand, this stand is the original Red Hook Pupusas stand that has been a part of countless soccer games, birthdays, family gatherings and other celebrations that take place at the Red Hook Park. They serve authentic Salvadoran cuisine, specially Pupusas, which is a tortilla that is stuffed with various ingredients like chicken, meat, fish and vegetables and is made of corn flour. As it is a family run business, some of the recipes they use are passed down. The El Olomega is one place where you can find delicious, authentic Salvadoran food.
