The Graue Mill is a historic mill in Oak Brook, Illinois. The former grist powered mill was built in 1852, and is now a museum displaying the Civil War era with volunteers dressed in period costumes. Cosley Zoo is located in Wheaton, Illinois. It is an AZA-accredited zoo and is open all year round. It is open for Wheaton Park District residents and children under 18 years at no cost. Admission fees for non-resident adults is USD5 for ages 18 to 54, and USD4 for ages 55 and over. The zoo is located on a five acres (two hectares) of land and is built on the site of a historic train station. The zoo is home to wild animals native to the state of Illinois.
The Elmhurst city in the U.S. State of Illinois is bestowed with a spectacular botanical garden and conservatory in the form of the Wilder Park Conservatory. It is predominantly a single room conservatory site and is open for general public viewing on a daily basis between 8:00a through 4:00p.
