    »Michael McDonald

    August 29, 2014 6:30 PM

Michael McDonald's iconic voice, one so husky and soulful that it is identifiable within seconds, has been a voice that has sung its way through American music history. Before his solo career, McDonald was a member of not only one but two bands quintessential to the history of rock: Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers (with whom he won four Grammys). Now, on his own, McDonald is a perfect example of a blue-eyed soul crooner, covering such famous songs as "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered."

    »Comedian D.c. Benny

    August 29, 2014 8:00 PM

In the hard-hitting world of stand-up comedy, D.C. Benny is a heavyweight. Leaving one-liners and throwaway gags to the amateurs, Benny is a pro at telling hilarious, true-to-life stories filled with spot-on impressions and razor-sharp observations. From his very first TV appearance ("Showtime at the Apollo"), he has been building one of the most respected careers in comedy. His Comedy Central special was one of the highest rated in the network's history and he was a semi-finalist on Season Two of "Last Comic Standing". Now this streetwise and unfailingly hilarious performer brings his unique brand of comedy to the Chicago Improv of Schaumburg.

    »DC Benny

    August 29, 2014 8:00 PM

Dc Benny is currently appearing on NBCs Last Comic Standing as one of the top 8 comedians! In the hard-hitting New York comedy world, D.C. Benny is a heavyweight contender. His unorthodox style of comedic story-telling, seasoned with original characters, has earned him a rabid fan base of all shapes, sizes, shades and ages over the last 26 years. As an English major at the University of Maryland, he entered a talent show where he got big laughs doing impressions of all of his professors. He soon became a fixture at local comedy clubs in the D.C. area, before moving to Brooklyn NY. Once in New York, he made a name for himself as a white comic who was happy to work the urban rooms in addition to performing at the mainstream comedy clubs. Benny killed on his first tv appearance on Showtime At the Apollo and has since performed in all over the U.S. and toured internationally. Many of his fans know him from his dramatic film and tv roles. He has been seen on multiple Law and Orders, had a long run on the soap As The World Turns, and has been in many feature films such as Freedomland with Samuel Jackson and John Singleton’s Illegal Tender. He has also been in numerous national commercials for Verizon, Dell, Volkswagon, Wendy’s, and was the main character in the Budweiser “How You Doin’?” Superbowl spots. His Comedy Central half hour is one of the highest rated in the networks history, and he was a semi-finalist on Season 2 of Last Comic Standing. His weekly comedic story-telling show, Urban Myth, became an underground staple, where performers such as Dave Chapelle, Ben Bailey, Jim Gaffigan, Marc Maron, Jim Norton, and Colin Quinn would drop by and tell their true, funny, stories. Benny still lives in Brooklyn with his wife and animals, where he works on his writing projects, fiddles around with old Land Rovers, and makes his own sauce.
