Southeastern Louisiana University's College of Arts and Sciences is pleased to once again offers this month-long celebration of the arts, humanities, and the sciences with the very best in music, dance, theatre, lecture, films, exhibits and children's events. Held in October.
An annual festival held in April, the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival prides itself in having non-profit organizations as the only vendors on the festival grounds. Festivities include entertainment, a parade, pageant, ball and great booths.
Home of the Free Fair, the Washington Parish Fairgrounds is a premier facility in the city of Franklinton. Located in the northern part of the city, above Bene Street, and between Highway 430 and Highway 25, this fairgrounds comes alive each year for the Free Fair, which draws in a lot of visitors from all over the region.
