In this world-premiere comedy, a family's Christmas Eve festivities seem headed up the chimney when the matriarch, who's usually the one on top of the holiday preparations, goes all grinchy. That leaves her three adult children to try and salvage the celebration, or miss out altogether on beloved traditions like the turducken. They include Kath, who's conscientious but afraid of commitment, the eager-to-please Dom, an occasional huffer, and the captivating yet ineffectual Chris. This timely production comes from local playwright Ellen K. Graham and the Edge Theatre Company.
This musical Christmas show based on Dickens' timeless tale is back at Jesters Dinner Theatre and still going strong after more than 20 annual productions, making it a true holiday tradition. The original "Christmas Carol" tells the story of grumpy old miser Ebenezer Scrooge, who's offered a second chance to become a kind and generous human being through the aid of four ghosts who visit him in turn one Christmas Eve, each teaching him valuable lessons. This tale of redemption and forgiveness captures the true spirit and magic of the holiday season for the whole family. Opt for dinner and the show, and enjoy your choice of an entree with sides.

Steven Burge reprises his award-winning tour-de-force performance as a cast of over 30 characters in the acclaimed one-man show "Fully Committed", which was named one of "Time" magazine's top ten plays of 2000. In this wry, witty show, Sam is an out-of-work actor manning the phones of a five-star Manhattan restaurant. When not placating his celebrity chef boss, Sam has to fend off a nonstop parade of desperate callers (socialites, glitterati, pushy tourists, cranky senior citizens and the occasional mafioso) who will stop at nothing to land a prime reservation. Tired of the constant barrage, Sam decides to change his circumstances for the better and begins accepting bribes for "giving good table." For Steven Burge's turn as the entire zany cast, "The Denver Post" called him "one of the most fearless comic actors in town," and gave "Fully Committed" the 2009 Ovation Award for Best Solo Performance.
