More than 30 years old, Batschkapp is a popular rock and pop concert venue which has outlasted many of its rivals. Other music styles such as heavy metal, Indie, crossover and hip-hop bands also feature here. However, a line up of live performers makes this venue an outstanding one. International names like Lenny Kravitz, Nirvana and REM have graced their stage. Please make sure to leave penknives or anything of that sort at home; the security staff are serious about safety and have even been known to confiscate nail files. Batschkapp is a great venue to enjoy fun-filled weekend nights.

Chinaski in Westend is not a bar, not a disco - just like it's tagline declares - but a mixture of both. Named for and inspired by the fictional character of Henry Chinaski, created by Charles Bukowski, this unique venue blends urban elegance with bohemian character and creates an environment where people from varied stations of life can come together for productive revelry - waiting to be inspired. The bar here churns out sensational cocktails; also on offer is the daily changing specials menu which offers stellar hand-crafted drinks out of seasonal offerings. Apart from these, there are the usual suspects of European wines and spirits to keep you company at this fantastic industrial-chic night spot. The DJ line-up matches the free-spirited ambiance that this establishment provides. The awesome music, great drinks and a superb environment is enough too keep you coming back at Chinaski.
