    »Pocono Indian Museum

    Walk through an authentic bark house and back into time to see tomahawks, war bonnets, and a 150-year-old scalp at this museum that follows the history of the Delaware Indians. This museum's claim to fame is that it is the only one in the Northeast devoted to the Delaware tribe; displays trace the history of man in Northeastern Pennsylvania from 10,500 B.C. through 1776. Displays of ancient artifacts make the cassette-guided tour fascinating for kids and adults alike. The gift shop on-site features many native craft items including pottery, jewelry and leather goods. Also on premises is an excellent library of Indian history and bookstore.
