This fiendishly funny musical parody poses this promising premise: what if Mrs. Cratchit -- one of the characters from Charles Dickens' classic novella "A Christmas Carol" -- was not the kindhearted, ever-suffering wife we all know, but rather an angry, stressed-out, modern American woman who wants nothing more than to kick her harsh London life to the curb? A hilarious show filled with spirits, "Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge" is an irreverent lampoon of a classic that's filled with songs and holiday howls.

This fresh theatrical interpretation of "The Nutcracker" reinvents E.T.A. Hoffmann's original holiday tale with lots of humor and heart -- and no ballet. After the loss of her brother in the Marines, young Clara sets out on a journey to save her grieving family, with the help of a remarkable nutcracker. Full of magic, hope and fun, this contemporary retelling weaves together a delightful original score and dialogue and amazing puppetry, and shines a light on the healing power of the imagination.
