ORWOhaus was setup with an effort to encourage musicians with their efforts. Wolfen was a manufacturer of music tape and film tape, and was housed in the same location as the present ORWO. Hence as a tribute, this ORWOhaus (Original Wolfen) house has been named so. The house occupies one whole high rise building, offering just more than enough space to its artists. With its aim in consideration, this place very frequently hosts music concerts of all scales along with the affordable rehearsal rooms that it offers. A musical milestone!
