This beautiful historic home popularly known as the The Old Fort, is the Isaac Meier Homestead is said to be one of the oldest buildings of Myerstown. Known to be the founder of the home, Isaac Meier, the home is spread over 0.3 acres (0.12 hectares) of land. This two and a level structure also feature a three bay wide home. The kitchen is a one and a half level wing that is the historic part of the house. This house was listed on the national register in the year 1973.
