Bambu is a sure-hit for a great night out on the town. The venue has three different rooms, a big dance floor, and booths to relax and watch the scene. If you are in need of a little night air, there is a Morocco-style garden waiting for your perusal. With a varied drink selection and a throbbing beat, even celebrities have been known to drop by.
The Steering Wheel club offers two nights of funk at the weekend and is available for hire from Monday to Thursday. Friday night sees Ouch!, an offering of hard house. Saturday night is called S.L.A.G. (an acronym for straights, lesbians and gays). This is serious garage and hard house and is not for those who thought the Spice Girls were the next big thing.

Wednesdays are student nights, when you can get in with an NUS card and four-pint jugs. Most performers are well known on the comedy or music circuit, including the occasional star name such as Jack Dee, Johnny Vegas, James Blunt, and Supergrass. There are normally three acts per night. Be careful on if you're in a single-sex party of more than 13, everyone will have to pay some refundable good behavior bond.
Very few nightclubs in UK play hard core rock and metal music and Eddie's Rock Club is one of them.
