Bars & Cafes
This high-five of a dining spot was recently voted as the "Best Mountain Restaurant" by Denver's 5280 magazine. Located in the renovated Old Town Carbondale House, the restaurant exudes an inviting, cozy look that manages to offer fine dining in a casual setting and at amazingly reasonable prices. The menu is ambitious and the kitchen takes great pride in always updating it with new and refreshingly different items. The Alaskan Halibut and Colorado Lamb are two of the more popular dishes. The wine list is extensive and ever changing as well.
This fantastic eatery is a local favorite. Enjoy yummy gourmet coffees, a delicious, full deli menu and don't forget about the sinfully sweet desserts.
Favorite local spot features specialty beers that are brewed on the premises and are complimented by delicious appetizers, burgers, gourmet pizzas, seafood, pasta, and Southwestern entrees. They are open daily for lunch and dinner.
The unique decor and atmosphere at The Bar at Wildwood is a perfect combo for a great time. You will find lounge-style seating, fireside tables and cozy corners ideal for conversation. Enjoy their specialty pizzas, appetizers and creative entrees. Different varieties of New Belgium's finest brews will be on tap.
An atmosphere as lively and enthusiastic as the name ("come on, come on!" in Spanish) is to be found at Venga Venga, where the Mexican fare is delicious and the tequila just never stops flowing. The location affords spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, and the fire pits on the patio literally give you a warm welcome. Grilled quesadillas, shrimp ceviche and cantina nachos are best shared with the group, following which are many delicacies you can devour alone. Pulled chicken burritos, skirt steak fajitas, pork carnitas and chile relleno are a few of the scrumptious offerings. There are some exceptional margaritas like the Don Julio, Cabo Grand and Espolon, as also beers, wines and a few non-alcoholic drinks.
It is not hard to see why this restaurant and bar at Stonebridge Inn has been named 'Artisan'; pains are taken to ensure that every item on the menu is a work of art, a treat to the taste buds. The best produce of the season is made use of to create scrumptious dishes like rabbit risotto braised with red wine. The bar menu offers a number of light treats like the crispy Yukon Gold potato gnocchi and Chinese chicken salad. The wine menu has something to complement any meal you may be having. The bar opens at 3p daily, with Happy Hour from 3p to 5.30p.
This casual, non-stop restaurant is the closest eatery you will find to being the sure thing in terms of food selection, atmosphere, views and convenience. The deck, which overlooks Fanny Hill, is ideal for soaking up the Colorado sun while on a lunch break from skiing, or for après ski. It offers ski-in/ski-out convenience. The dinner menu features steaks, ribs, pizza and fish. There are several pasta dishes including the Jamaican Jerk Pappardelle, which features jerk lathered chicken. A large kid's menu is also available.
A slopeslide bar that offers a great selection of beer, wine and liquor. Features a large patio with firepit, a stage for live music and gorgeous mountain views.
Open year-round for lunch and dinner, Mountain Bayou offers "great Cajun and BBQ."
This happy place is one of the few spots in Snowmass that invites one to plop down at the bar and enjoy a cold draft while watching a game on TV. Bar stools line its huge corner windows that afford unobstructed views of the mall. If you prefer a table, there are several booths that strangely resemble wooden Tilt-a-Whirls. Video machines, and pool and foosball tables adorn the room. The menu offers classic bar food such as wings, pizza, calamari, burgers and sandwiches.
