Natural Vibrations is a ska band from Kahalu'u, Hawaii that combines elements of classic reggae, rock and traditional Hawaiian music to craft a root-based sound. Formed in 1993, the six-piece outfit released its debut album Balls Rolling, in 1996 and has since garnered fervent acclaim in its home state as one of Hawaii's premier reggae acts. By the time Natural Vibrations released its seventh studio album Got This Music, in 2011, its music had caught on in the mainland of the US, allowing the band to embark on its first national tour in 2013.

San Antonio band Upon A Burning Body is a so-called deathcore band that certainly lives up to its name. This music is clearly meant to be listened to whilst sitting atop a pile of corpses, presumably after adding to the pile yourself. The fire that gets lit to the mass is where the band comes in, as their red-hot rhythm section is a blazing, relentless force to be reckoned with. Don't be fooled by the band's hardcore name though, they can sing like pop's most bubblegum-chewing acts, and won't hesitate to wax romantic upon the ashes of those they've destroyed.

From the creators of "Cabaret" and "Chicago" comes this musical comedy the Associated Press called "a blissful, often very funny celebration of a bygone era," mixing the mystery of Agatha Christie with the song and dance of "42nd Street". There's been a murder at the local theater, and the detective assigned to find the killer soon finds himself entangled in a romance -- and somehow starring in a musical headed for Broadway. One of the last collaborations between the Tony Award-winning team of John Kander and Fred Ebb, this crowd-pleasing show presented by San Jose's South Bay Musical Theatre truly has something for everyone -- comedy, song, dance and a satisfying "whodunit" mystery at its core. "Curtains" received eight Tony nominations in 2007, including Best Musical, Book and Original Score.
