Patrick's of Pratt Street dates back to 1847 and is one of the oldest pubs in the country. It shifted to its present location in 1863 and has passed through generations of family ownership. The beverage menu includes Irish whiskeys such as the matured Jameson, Tullamore Dew and Celtic Honey. The Union Craft Brewery is situated on Union Avenue, just a few minutes away from Maryland Zoo in Woodberry area of Baltimore. The unique brewery blends with ease traditional and contemporary styles of brewing and creates interesting, bold flavors. Established in 2011, Union Craft is responsible for well-balanced brews and ales such as Duckpin Pale Ale, Rye Baby IPA and the lager Blackwing, to name a few. As such, the brewhouse is open for tours on Saturdays between 1p and 4p, while their fun and casual tap room remains open between Thursdays and Fridays, from 5p to 8p.
Artifact is one of the local coffee shops located at Union Avenue. This place is good for a quiet breakfast. Drop in for their sandwiches, egg and scrapple or simple donuts to go along with your coffee. This place is not preferable for families or groups and takes a little more than usual time to serve!
