Recognized by Golf Magazine as one of the best public access golf courses in America, this 18 hole championship golf course is the home course to Virginia Tech's men's golf team and it features beautifully manicured bent grass tees, greens, and fairways nestled along a two and a half mile backdrop of the New River. A well stocked golf shop, state of the art practice facility, and PGA golf instructions are also available on site.

Home to approximately 60 horses and ponies, these stables sit on 600 acres of fields and trails and include two barns, seven pastures, five paddocks, and a large outdoor ring. Boarding facilities are available, as well as riding lessons for all ages and levels.

This four mile round trip trail meanders along a shaded mountain creek to a 70 foot waterfall within the Jefferson National Forest. The hike is low to moderate difficulty and a picnicking area can be found at the beginning of the trail. Trout fishing is also available in the Little Stony Creek.
An eight acre man-made pond on the edge of the Eastern Continental Divide that offers excellent warm water fishing opportunities, as well as canoeing.
