    »Airco Golf Course

This 1962 Chic Adams course (par 72 and 6088 yards from the regular tees) has trees lining its fairways. The fairways themselves are very broad and receptive to all but the most crooked tee shots. There is token water and a bit of sand. For the most part, this is a tame collection of holes, especially if played from the regular tees rather than the championship (6635 yards). Two of the par-3s are in excess of 200 yards from the back tees. The par-5s are of ordinary distance, and the par-4s top 400 yards on two occasions. Airco Golf Course is a public golf course. Metal spikes are tolerated, but not encouraged.

    »Feather Sound Country Club

Although not long at 6445 yards from the middle tees, this par-72 Joe Lee course can be plenty tough from both the middle or back tees (6856 yards). The fairways are broad and framed by fairway traps. The greens have been redone and are both fast and interesting. There is also water in play on several holes. The average player would be wise to stick to the middle tees. Feather Sound Country Club is a private golf course. Soft spikes only.
