»Philadelphia Plowden

November 21, 2014 8:00 PM

Philadelphia is one of the most sound actors/comedians working today. His observations & revelations about the human condition, mixed with stories from his own life, take an audience on a 200mph trip that could stop at any point along the journey. Philly puts it all on the line, because he always works in the moment. His ability to relate to people from different walks of life has made him a favorite in the cruise ship industry, comedy clubs, & corporate events. He's opened for stars like the late Robert Palmer, Richard Jeni, & Julio Iglesias on the West coast leg of his 2003 world tour. Stories about his mother, kids & marriage has made him a favorite wherever he plays. With TV appearances in commercials & as a standup or a dramatic & comedic actor, Philadelphia is the "Full Package of Entertainment"!

»Donna Carter

November 21, 2014 8:00 PM

After rigorous comedy classes and seemingly endless nights and weeks and months of unpaid open mic performances, Donna landed her first paid gig in August, 1998, and from that point on, it’s been on!In March of 2002, Donna made the leap of faith (or insanity, depending on your point of view), and went full-time as a comic. Since then she has been entertaining virtually every week at clubs all over the country, and in September 2002, was given an opportunity to have her standup filmed for a documentary to be released within a few months. Most folk would be afraid to start something as bold as comedy at the age of 40, let alone begin a new career at 44. Most (especially Donna’s mother) think she’s crazy. Ms. Carters career is on the rise! Her new Live CD entitled, “Fat Girls Don’t Wrinkle” is on sale now at her live performances and in the Yardsale tab on her website. Listen for selected CD tracks on Sirius XM Satellite Radio.

»Birdman @ Uno Lakefront Arena In New Orleans, La

November 21, 2014 9:00 PM

Money obviously means a lot to New Orleans-based rapper Birdman. With songs like "Money to Blow," "Money Machine" and "Been About Money," it's clear that the green paper currency is a main fixture in the rapper's life. However, all the hubbub about money does not overshadow the fact that Birdman is one of the more skilled producers and music entrepreneurs on the scene. As a founder of Cash Money Records, he has collaborated with notable artists like Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Young Jeezy and several others to create impressive rap songs that are hard not to like.
