    Formerly the Ashdale Farm, the Stevens-Coolidge Place is a beautiful early 20th-century rural estate that has a history dating back to 1729. The delightful, landscaped gardens with its hay fields and the eclectically furnished house complement each other well.     The Paine-Dodge House was built in 1694 and is an excellent example of the First Period architecture. This charming yellow salt-box was the home of the Paines for three generations. Done up with colonial American furnishings and decorative art pieces, it is located in the scenic Greenwood Farm. Owned by the Trustees of Reservations now, guided tours are available on the first Saturday of every month. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
