Established in 1842, Ohio Wesleyan University is a private liberal arts college. It is located 20 minutes north of Columbus in Delaware, Ohio.
The St. Mary's Delaware Catholic Church is a historic church located in Delaware, Ohio. This Roman Catholic church was built in 1886 by Bourner and Phillips, and features Gothic Revival architecture influences. The red brick structure also includes a steeple with a clock and a turret. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is that rare zoological institution whose most famous face is that of a human. The O'Shaughnessy Dam and Bridge is a major source of drinking water for the city of Columbus. Spread over an area of 845 acres (341 hectares), the reservoir also comprises of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, located near the dam. Picnic areas, boat ramps, docks and rental boat slips are some of the recreational activities available.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Fletcher-Coffman Homestead has been restored to its original period and made improvements to the barn (which houses early farm machinery used in the area) and grounds. The Heritage Gardens bloom with heirloom and antique interpretive plantings of the late 1800's.
The original village of Dublin was located in what is now Historic Dublin. Many of the buildings along High and Riverview streets are on the National Register of Historic Places. The Temperance Row Historic District is located at Westerville, Ohio. In the year 1909, it came into prominence owing to the Anti-Saloon League of America (ASLA) headquarters that were based here. People and leaders associated with ASLA had their homes in this region.

Hayden Falls Park is a charming nature getaway in Columbus. Located just off the Scioto River, this park boasts a lovely walkway that leads to a beautiful waterfall. The path doesn't have too many places to stop and rest, so be prepared for more of an active outing when spending the day at Hayden Falls Park.
