A temple for art lovers and learners, the Des Moines Art Center has art works like Edward Hopper's Automat, which was reproduced as a postage stamp. An entire museum dedicated to the golden career of "Rapid Robert" or Robert William Andrew "Bob" Feller, a former American Major League Baseball pitcher. Established in 1990, this museum showcases the 226 unforgettable victories of this "Heater from Van Meter" in form of his old uniforms, photographs, trophies, special awards and artwork. A must visit destination for all Feller's fans, this museum continues to be an inspiration for all baseball players even now.
