The Sam Houston State Bearkats represents the athletic programs and
intercollegiate teams of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. The school competes in the Southland Conference under NCAA Division I classification. Sam Houston competes in a wide range of men's and women's sports, including football, basketball, baseball and cross country. In 2005, 2006 and 2007, the university won the Commissioner's Cup, awarded to the Southland Conference's top all-around athletic department.
Colorado-based producer Alex Botwin has been working in the electronic music scene for several years now, first playing bass as a member of jammy livetronica outfit Pnuma Trio and later crafting beats under the name Alex B. His project Paper Diamond finds him crafting fleshed-out, fully-realized tracks full of funky breaks, blissed-out synth work and the occasional vocal sample. Paper Diamond's debut EP, Levitate, was released in 2011 on the Pretty Lights Music label.
