Tesla is an American hard rock group that formed in Sacramento in 1984. Taking its name from the electrical engineer and inventor Nikola Tesla, the band scored three consecutive platinum albums full of blues rock and heavy metal in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Like most of its hard rock brethren at the time, Tesla suffered when the grunge onslaught took over in the early 1990s and soon after broke up in 1996. The band was able to continue around 2000, however, powered by a renewed touring appeal and a love for messing with its sound by playing cover songs or sometimes performing in an acoustic format.

Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons is a iconic pop/rock group from New Jersey. Since 1960, the legend Frankie Valli has led the band, sometimes referred to as simply The Four Seasons and previously called The Four Lovers, with his classically smooth voice. The group has seen musicians and singers come and go, but the core of it remains strong with Valli and Bob Gaudio, the original keyboardist of The Four Lovers. Although Gaudio no longer plays live shows with the band, he has been Valli's partner in the Four Seasons Partnership, an organization that deals with the business side of assets and record catalogs, since its inception in 1960. Following the release of its first album Sherry & 11 Other, which featured the hit songs "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Walk Like a Man," the group could only be rivaled by the Beach Boys in US record sales. One of the best-selling groups of all time, Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons is truly a timeless group whose songs have lasted the test of time. The band's 1967 single, "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," has been covered by hundreds of artists and has made lasting effects on pop culture through film. Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and continues to bring the romance of the 1960s to future decades.

A Southern California native, Gary Allan should logically not be a Nashville country star, but growing up with a father who played honky tonk at various bars, eventually incorporating his son into his live acts, it was only natural that Allen would find his niche in the country music world. Before finding fame and while playing small venues, Gary Allan took a job selling used cars. With aspirations of making it big, Allan did everything to spread his name. At one point Allen put a demo tape of his into a used car that he sold to a wealthy couple. The two were so impressed with the demo, they gave him $12,000 to travel to Nashville to properly record his songs. Allan did just that, and before he knew it he had a professional recording contract with a major label.
