Most Contagious is something of a hybrid: part awards show, part business conference, part annual review, part future forum, and part party. We could have gone all portmanteau and called it our Yearly PartonFerence but qualitative research found that to be a terrible idea.
The sum of all these parts is a day dedicated to action-oriented analysis and debate around the way technology is shaping the future of business. It's our version of an Annual Report and investors' forecast for the year ahead: looking beyond ivory towers and interrogating the trends transforming communications.
A MOST-ATTEND EVENT
Most Contagious isn't a sit-on-an-uncomfortable-chair-taking-notes-while-your-spine-slowly-degenerates sort of PartonFerence.
There won't be any slides with this: or this: or this: on them.
There will be an exhibition of social movements, new technologies and provocative ideas. There will be a chance to gather with a cross-section of industry experts, start-ups, and brands to collectively make sense of the way in which the world is changing.
As a consultancy with a foundation in journalism, Contagious has always been good at connecting the dots: seeking out the people, products, and trends that, only together, tell the whole story. Most Contagious is that process writ large.

The Most Contagious Awards are a chance for us to recognise the companies and communications we believe are changing the world for the better. You don't get a Most Contagious Award for snappy art direction or an ROI of 3728% on your social media campaign (although that is impressive). You get it for demonstrating the transformational power of creativity.
Our awardees come in a variety of sizes and from a variety of places. Last year, for example, we recognized Cambridge, UK-based start-up, the Raspberry Pi Foundation, for its part in revolutionizing education. And we awarded Safaricom, the biggest company in Kenya by market size, for the way in which its brand acts as an NGO.
We also want you to have your say about the Most Contagious companies that are rewriting the rules of business. In the final session of the day, delegates will vote to decide the Most Contagious Idea of the Year award.
