The Auroras were founded in 1981 to promote and coach synchronized swimming. Since 1985, they have been producing medal winners at the highest levels. Depending on your age, you will be entered into one of six programs, ranging from the under eight's to the over 19's. Training at the Edmonton Aurora Synchronized Swim Club, located at the Kinsmen Sports Centre takes place at the NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) pool, under eight's train for four hours a week; the seniors often train over 26 hours.
