    »Emery

    October 02, 2014 6:00 PM

Despite all the members of the Rock Hill, South Carolina based post hardcore band Emery openly professing their devotion to Christianity, the group still feels uncomfortable being referred to as a "Christian rock" band. The music the band makes is fairly aggressive for a bunch of Jesus freaks and lead singer Toby Morrell screams so much its easy to imagine this guy using a lot of over the counter chloraseptic throat spray.

    October 02, 2014 11:00 AM

New York's long running circus was originally the brainchild of Russian-born Gregory Fedin, whose goal was to train "first generation" performers in the traditions of circus acts. The show has been running since 1977, growing larger and larger over the years until it eventually became the New York staple it is today. The Big Apple Circus combines clowns, trapeze artists, animals galore and everything you'd expect from a classic circus, with a touch of modern flair inspired by current popular shows such as Cirque du Soleil.

    »The Seven Year Itch

    October 02, 2014 8:00 PM

Richard Sherman's wife and family are on vacation, giving him the opportunity to live the bachelor's life in his Manhattan apartment. But when an attractive young lady drops a tomato plant onto his patio and comes downstairs to retrieve it, will his immediate attraction to the woman simply called "The Girl," lead to "The Seven Year Itch"? George Axelrod's classic 1950s comedy -- later made into a star-making film for Marilyn Monroe -- remains a fresh and funny roller coaster that leads to the ultimate question: Will he go through with it?

Lori McKenna is a folk singer/songwriter from Stoughton, Massachusetts who first started writing songs as a teenager. After she releasedher debut LP, Paper Wings and Halo, in 2000, the album helped establish McKenna as apremiersource of dainty folk material in the New England region. »Evita

    October 02, 2014 7:30 PM

The life of Argentinian political figure Eva Peron is brought to life in Evita, the unforgettable musical production created by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. The show follows the story of Eva, the wife of Argentine President Juan Peron, as she rises to fame as a political leader and actor, and eventually moves the entire nation through her work as an activist and philanthropist. With tango-based melodies and inspiration from Catholic hymns, Evita's music score adds another layer to the rich narrative of a historical women's life.
