Gilbert-Sinton Historic District

Flanked by Morris Street and Sinton Avenue, Gilbert-Sinton Historic District is one of the many historic districts of the city. Interestingly, the entire district has similar building structures and Queen Anne and the Shingle Style of architectural design have been widely used. The Gilbert-Sinton district was one of the foremost areas to be provided with public transportation facilities. The first cable car was routed through Gilbert Avenue making it an integral part of the city's history. Included in the National Register of Historic Places, Gilbert-Sinton Historic District is worth a visit owing to the unique architectural styles and tourist attractions like Eden Park.
