intercollegiate teams of Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. An NCAA Division I member, the university competes in the Horizon League and the Missouri Valley Football Conference. The university also fields a men's ice hockey team, which is a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association. Youngstown maintains a strong track and field program, with the women's squad winning multiple Horizon League championships over the years. With music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Jack Feldman, the show follows the story of a familiar cast of young underdogs who take on the biggest names in publishing. An inspiring tale that still hold's weight in modern times, Newsies debuted at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey in 2011 before finding a home on both Broadway and London's West End in 2012.
