The exhibition Under the Tree: A Century of Holiday Trees and Toys is dedicated to the Christmas season and its decorations from earlier eras, 1860s to 1960s. A Century of desired toys and games from the past are showcased in addition to a variety of decorated Christmas trees from many decades. This annual exhibition features items from the Mercer Museum and from private collectors.
Theo Parrish is an electronic music producer from Detroit, Michigan, that creates a fusion of techno and deep house music. Combining vocals with live instrumentation and looped recording, he released his debut album, First Floor, with Peacefrog Records in 1998. As he continued to make his mark with a signature Detroit techno sound, he delved into old disco, funk and soul records and earned a residency at London's Plastic People night club. Parrish dropped his fourth studio album,Sound Sculptures Volume 1, in 2007 with Sound Signature records.
