    » Meyer's Castle

    Distinguished architect Cosbey Bernard, Sr. constructed the Meyer’s Castle from 1927 to 1931. It boasts of the Jacobethan style of construction and is a former personal abode in Dyer, Indiana in the United States. In the light of the present day, this castle is encompassed by two colossal canopies to host private events and wedding receptions. The adjoining neighborhood is bestowed with stunning trees, a swan pond, and a stellar garden with waterfall. The Argentinean style food served in the Rodizio Restaurant is delicious. The meat varieties are a must-try. Just 35 minutes from Downtown Chicago, the Meyer’s Castle is a perfect getaway for corporate events and parties.

    »Buckley Homestead County Park

    It is a county park and historical museum located in Lowell, Indiana, and is operated by Lake County Parks. It is said to have been built by the Buckleys, who were Irish immigrants to the country. After four generations lived there, they donated the farm to the Lake County Parks in the year 1977. The park has a visitors' center, house museum, the farm and a garden. Many events are held annually including the World War II tributary event and the legendary Sleepy Hollow. It is open for public visits every day year round.
