January 30, 2015 8:00 PM

Based on the Disney film of the same name, Tarzan the musical follows the title character, who was left to be raised by apes in the African jungle after his parents were killed. When a group of British explorers land on the coast, they are fascinated by the apelike man, Tarzan. He begins to discover a growing romance with the young naturalist Jane Porter and as the two fall in love, they struggle with Tarzan's inability to feel fully like either a man or an animal. With music and lyrics by Phil Collins and a book by David Henry Hwang, this onstage sensation has been taken on international tours after its initial Broadway run in 2006.
