"Kiss Me, Kate" is Cole Porter's jazzy musical comedy about a former husband-and-wife acting team at war with each other while trying to stage a musical version of Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew". Scenery-chewing director and actor Fred Graham and his ex-wife Lilli Vanessi are a perfect portrayal of a "can't-live-with-'em, can't-live-without-'em" couple, as well as a brilliantly funny rendering of overwrought, egotistical artistic types. The show, whose original 1948 production won five Tonys, including the first-ever award for Best Musical, features classic Cole Porter numbers, such as "Too Darn Hot," "I Hate Men" and "Brush Up Your Shakespeare."

Vacationer is a group helmed by chief singer/songwriter Kenny Vasoli that seeks to musically encapsulate the exploratory freedom that fades more and more as people get older. With chillwave sonic aesthetics, that seem to provoke listeners to think longingly about their adolescent and youthful years, Vacationer has managed to prove its as a capable band with dreamy atmospheric songs that highlight Vasoli's wistful vocals. Releasing its debut album, Gone, in 2012, Vacationer has demonstrated an artistic strength, that'llundoubtedlyonly be bolstered as it continues to record interesting and provocative listening material.

Based on the classic folk tale by French author Charles Perrault, Cinderella follows the story of a young woman whose life of hardships is turned upside down. Though there have been thousands of adaptations for both the stage and big screen in several different languages, the foundation of the tale is often left untouched. A common version depicts Cinderella living a ragged life under the control of her stepmother and stepsisters, who are jealous of Cinderella's beauty and grace. When Cinderella's cruel family prevents her from attending the royal ball for Prince Charming, an attempt by the King and Queen to find a bride for their son, her fairy godmother comes to her aid and transforms her rags into a beautiful gown. Cinderella shows up to the ball and immediately catches the eye of Prince Charming, but she is forced to abruptly leave the party at midnight, when she returns to her true form, before the Prince can catch her name. A tale of hope and overcoming obstacles, Cinderella is an enduring narrative that has proven its lasting power through centuries of storytelling.
