A real pizza chef stands up front tossing dough into the air preparing the homemade crust. Rich sauces and fresh toppings are piled high and the pizza is served by the slice to hungry shoppers all day. Lasagna and fresh pasta are a part of the menu as well.
The menu at this popular bbq joint offers soups & salads, burgers, wings, sandwiches, their notorious redneck tacos, bar-b-que plates, homemade sides, ribs, and kid's meals.

This bakery and restaurant specializes in Middle Eastern cuisine and offers many ethnic food items in their small grocery store. Try an enormous pita sandwich filled with sliced lamb, spices and mint. Add a side order of hummus and baba ghanoush for a perfect meal. The dining room is spacious and seats 20 or more patrons. You can also carry out a dinner feast or delightful pastry platter to take home.
Some of the spiciest, freshest and best Mexican food is served at Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant. The restaurant serves traditional Mexican cuisine, but for a real treat try one of their specialties like Quesadilla Rellena. Bring a big appetite because they don't skimp on portions, and that goes double for the margaritas!
The sweet smelling aroma of steaming pancakes is enough to draw you to this popular hang out. A popular chain, International House of Pancakes enjoys great fame serving pancakes, waffles, sausages and the usual American breakfast favorites. Take your pick from the various options, namely Regular Combo, Big Combo and Sampler Combo. Before leaving, don't forget to try the scrumptious fruit-topped funnel cakes (with a vanilla scoop). The only downside is that it can get really crowded.

Fat Mo's is a locally-owned fast food chain, but definitely not your standard fast food burger. These delicious and juicy burgers range in size from your typical quarter pounder to an impressive 27 ounces of freshly cooked ground beef. If you're looking for a burger that tastes like homemade, this is definitely the place to go. For all of the tasty toppings–grilled onions, mushrooms, bacon, BBQ sauce, and jalapeños–be sure to order your burger “Like Deluxe.” It costs a dollar more, but adds a whole lot of flavor. Don't forget the spicy fries for a side dish. If you're not in the mood for a burger, try the catfish sandwich, it's another Fat Mo's favorite.
While you wait for a table, have a drink at the bar and toss peanut shells on the floor. The wait at Longhorn Steakhouse is often long, but the steaks are worth it. The chef starts with a lean cut of choice beef, rubs it with Longhorn's signature spices and grills it to perfection. The succulent filet mignon, the hearty rib eye and the ever popular t-bone are all part of the culinary repertoire. The signature entree, a huge 22-ounce porterhouse steak, is beloved by serious beef lovers. Non-beef eaters can enjoy chicken and seafood dishes.
Siam Café is quite possibly the best Thai restaurant in Nashville, and not just because it serves up some of the hottest Thai around. The service and décor at Siam Café make it a memorable experience regardless of what you order. The wait staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is wonderfully reminiscent of old Siam. While there is a buffet available, most local regulars prefer to order from the menu. Of the traditional Thai curry dishes, the Red Curry and Panang Curry are both exceptionally yummy, and the Spring Rolls are delicious. Siam Café is best for small groups and not ideal for large gatherings. - Lynn-nore Chittom
