    Located near the town's favorite restaurant, Joe's Gizzard City, right in front of the Police Station, the Chemical Train Wreck Memorial comprises of a single railway truck from the 2002 disaster. A Canadian National RR had derailed on Memorial day weekend of 2002 and leaked propane which it was carrying into the town, and the entire town was evacuated for over five days. The railroad carriage truck, is the only remainder of that incident and is now maintained as a remembrance of that day.
