This class is for children between the ages of 9 and 18. The SPER program to give kids good foundational knowledge of programming and electronics. In this program attendees will start with Scratch to understand the funtamentals of programming. Children will be transitioned to Phthon and then to completing simple electronics projects with Raspberry Pi. This program not only teaches coding and electronics but also fosters creativity, reasoning and problem solving. Class meets for 1.5 hours every week for 12 weeks. We believe in small group instruction and guided practice for deeper underdtanding of concepts. The student to teacher ratio is 4:1. Currently this program is being offered at a special price of $200 per month for first time YoungWonks students. Typically the tuition is $300/month. Monthly tuition covers 4 weeks of instruction (1.5 Hrs. per week) with 4 of less students per instructor. At this time first 1.5 hour session is being offered FREE. So you will only pay $150 for the first months tuition. Registration fee is $50. Registration fee is adjusted towards last months tuition. Class meets weekly at 10:30 AM on Saturdays.
