Artillery is a thrash metal band from Denmark that developed a reputation for its speedy, guitar-driven style during its initial run between 1982 and 1991. After three studio albums and numerous national tours, the group called it quits just before it reached the decade marker of its existence. The band reformed in 1998 to record a fourth studio album titled B.A.C.K., but went on to breakup for a second time by 2000. Artillery became active once more in 2007 with guitarist Michael Stutzer at the helm but long-time vocalist Flemming Ronsdorf sitting out on the reunion. Armed with a revamped lineup, fronted by lead vocalist Miachel Bastholm Dahl, Artillery continues to perform and record new music, such as the 2013 LP Legions.

German synthpop duo De/Vision was formed in 1988 and has had a rather procreative career, releasing an album every year and a half. Singing primarily in English and incorporating genres such as trance, hip hop and techno into its music, De/Vision has been a huge influence on the German electro scene since its inception. After touring heavily throughout the world, the duo is finally making waves on the international electro market as well.

When listening to music created by the Denver, Colorado based band Tennis, images are conjured of sail boats, sun burns, white sand beaches and hammocks. The husband and wife's tunes have such a beach friendly sound that it's hard to think the group comes from such a landlocked city like Denver. The duo did spend eight months sailing around the Eastern Seaboard, though, so all of the inadvertent ocean references found in the group's music isn't unfounded. Tennis caught the attention of several critics in 2010 after it released a few singles as well as an EP and as the band's notoriety continues to grow, it will undoubtedly prove to be an interesting electronically infused surf rock act to track.
