The Marshall Museum inside the George C. Marshall Foundation building was installed in 1964 with a view to educate people about the role of George C. Marshall in United States diplomacy and military. He is often credited for his role in changing the outcome of the World War II through his skills as an exemplary leader and tactician that influenced the 20th-century United States. The museum comprises approximately 2000 artifacts that includes the Noble Peace Prize awarded in 1953, a 1943 military jeep, and photographs that chronicles major events of his life. The interactive maps used during the World War II and the video presentation on his life called Soldier and Statesman is among the museums prized possessions. The museum along with the library is a great place for historians and student to study the history of the country from the point of view of the legendary statesman. Call to know more.
