Rated 3 out of 5 As expected Well positioned hotel for access to central London. Clean room, though slightly tired decor and bathroom. Would have expected free Wifi. September 7, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 Review august 2014 Not many hotels in Harrow area so this was a mid-priced one. Horrible all-over carpets everywhere, nothing for allergic people, Not nice to walk on them with bare feet because you can not get them clean! Breakfast only for british taste. Horrible beds, you could feel the metal strings in your back! Nowadays it´s stupid to charge for Wi-Fi, that is not a cost anymore for the hotel owner! September 1, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 They charge for wi-fi They charge 5 pounds a day for WI-FI and breakfast is not complimentary - 10 pounds per person, even for Choice Rewards Members. I stay at a lot of Choice Hotels and this was the first one ever that did not offer complimentary wi-fi and breakfast. Our room was close to the designated smoking area and while it did not smell from smoke, the noise went on until all hours of the night. There was only 1 staff member who went out of his to help me, knowing I was a Choice Rewards Member. Seems like they could care less about the Choice Rewards Program.Oh yeah, we wanted to watch a football match and not even the bar had the soccer cable channel....ridiculous.!! August 26, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 Wouldn't return There was no elevator (lift) so we had to climb up terribly narrow and steep steps to get to our room. The walls were terribly dirty looking. The bathroom needed an overhaul. The faucets were scummy looking and didn't turn on very well. The cold water dripped. With both hot and cold water on, it felt like hot was coming out half the faucet and cold was on the other half--it wasn't a warm mixture. It was very odd. The room was hot and the streets were loud. I made tea in the morning with what was in the room and the milk provided was curdled when I put it in the tea. The bed was comfortable which helped. But I definitely wouldn't stay there again. We used our Choice Hotels points for this night and I almost felt like we got put in the worst room because of it. I didn't feel like a very valued customer. June 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 Reasonable quality for the cost, stayed many times in the past and will stay many times in the future. March 22, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 This hotel probably dates back to the 1960s. The common parts, such as bar, dining area and reception have been updated, but, on the evidence of my room, and getting to it, not the rest of it. It is under the Comfort name, but it is a fifty-year old hotel. My room was unbearably hot. Tiny windows, high up, did not provide any significant ventilation to let hot air out, cool air in. I did not get to sleep till 7.00 a.m. because of the heat. July 23, 2013
