It was designed by architects Valk, Lawrence B. & Sons and it is an example of Romanesque style of architecture. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 1, 1993.
Located on the Main Street in Patchogue, the Post Office is a rare architectural example combining Classic Revival and Art Deco styles. Built in 1932 by ace architect John Vredenburgh Van Pelt, the historic building was added to the U.S National Register of Historic Places in 1989. In 2005, the building was renamed Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy Post Office Building to honor the contribution of Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy in the war in Afghanistan.
The St. Paul's Episcopal Church Complex is a historic site located in Patchogue, New York. This church was built in 1883 in the Eastlake style of architecture, featuring brick exteriors with a high gable roof, a separate bell tower, a gabled portico and a rose window. The church also owns two buildings adjacent to the church. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
