History buffs will enjoy taking a walk down the Park Avenue Historic District located between Park Avenue and Call Street to experience some of the city’s notable past. The oldest building in the district, The Columns, dates back to 1830, and now houses the Tallahassee Area Chamber of Commerce. If you are hunting for some antique pieces, The Murphy House is just the place for you. Other buildings of interest include The First Presbyterian Church, Knott House and the Old City cemetery.
Located in Tallahassee, Florida, the St. John's Episcopal Church is a historic church built in 1881. An excellent example of Late Gothic Revival, the stone and red brick structure of the church features stained glass windows. The lawns of the church are well maintained too. The site was added to the list of National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
