French people are an eclectic lot. They typically like to do things that most people consider strange, and then berate "normal" people for not acting in the same way and tirade them for not being cultured. This is probably the way French experimental band AaRON act. The group members make an extremely hard to listen to style of music, but because they're French, they're able to get away with it, and because most of their fans are French, the group has little difficulty finding people willing to throw down money to see its live shows.
