    »United States Embassy in Naha

    If American visitors have any questions about visas, passports, citizenship, or have an emergency during their stay in Okinawa, they can be sure to get help at the Embassy of the United States in Naha, Japan. The embassy’s website answers almost all questions of which issues they can directly assist you with or to which department one needs to address certain questions. There is information about absentee voting, how to complete a marriage in Japan, and what to do about documentation if your child is born during your stay. Visitors can take bus lines 25 and 90 or drive to the United States Consulate General.

    Tenbusu Hall is a large concert hall located in the heart of Naha City. Its facilities include rehearsal rooms, classrooms and of course, the concert hall. Many community events and karate or dance classes take place here, and anyone can reserve a room or the hall by phoning the venue administrators in advance.     »Naha Airport

    Okinawa Prefecture’s main airport is located in its capital Naha. The airport accommodates flights to and from islands within the prefecture (Kume, Miyako, Yaeyama, etc.), mainland Japan, and a few international destinations. Some of the airlines that fly through here are Asiana, Hong Kong, Mandarin, and Skynet Asia. The airport is also the best place to get most of your traveling checklist completed (currency exchange, inquiring about shuttles, buses, monorail, renting a car at Rhino Car Hire or any other car rental business, et cetera). The airport is a directly accessible from the Naha Kuko stop on the Yui Rail Line.

    The rail is a great way to get around the main Okinawa island! The Yui Rail takes you all over the prefecture’s capital of Naha. It goes from east (near Shurijo) to west with a direct stop at Naha Airport. The Yui Rail is definitely a convenient and fun way to reach each destination during your stay in Okinawa!
