Experience the thrills and chills of the season in a haunted world of pumpkins as you travel along The New York Botanical Garden's Whole Foods Market Trick-or-Treat Trail after dark. For "Spooky Nighttime Adventures", you'll grab a Con Edison flashlight and explore pumpkin sculptures as you trick-or-treat along the Adventure Garden's winding pathways after dark. Listen for critters of the night, dig around for decomposers and decorate gourds. If you dare, see the giant pumpkin displays illuminated in the darkness and journey along the meandering Wild Wetland Trail. All activities are designed for kids ages 5-12, but are sure to be enjoyed by "kids at heart," too!

Lace up your "Pumped Up Kicks" and hit the dance floor! Foster the People is the brainchild of Cleveland native Mark Foster who recruited Cubbie Fink and Mark Ponitus from the L.A. music scene. After "Kicks" became a viral success in 2010, the band blew up at SXSW leading to their debut album "Torches". Their sophomore album "Supermodel" came out earlier this year and jumped up to No. 1 on the alternative and rock "Billboard" charts. Soko opens the show with beautifully woozy songs that drip like honey from her guitar.

Langston Hughes' gospel musical "Tambourines to Glory" returns to Harlem, where it all began. One of the seminal figures of the Harlem Renaissance, Hughes was one of America's great poets, although he also achieved success in novels and works for the stage. "Tambourines to Glory" is one of those dramatic works, a passionate, spirited comedy-drama that follows the lives of Laura Reed and Essie Bell Johnson, two women who decide to start their own gospel church on a street corner in Harlem and end up battling against the Devil himself.
