Christ Church Cathedral is located in the heart of downtown Nashville and is presided over by the bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee. This beautiful and historic church dates back to the early 19th Century. Visitors are welcome throughout the week and after Sunday services to tour the church as a historical site. The church's broad spectrum of educational and prayer ministries meet the needs of members and guests of all ages. First Lutheran Nashville is located in the heart of Music City. In addition to a full range of Christian religious educational programs designed for children, youth, adults and seniors, First Lutheran also reaches out to the needs of the community surrounding the church facilities. By partnering with local ministries which focus on specific needs such as homelessness, hunger, incarceration and illness, the members of this Nashville church are able to better assist those with the greatest needs. First Baptist Nashville is located in the heart of downtown Nashville directly beside Bridgestone Arena. Educational ministries serve the church community through age-appropriate curriculum specific for children, youth, college students, single adults, married adults, and senior adults. Bible studies, prayer groups and small groups take place throughout the week for men and women. In addition to regularly scheduled services, First Baptist also provides the downtown community with an Arts Service Group which includes an open studio for the visual arts as well as an arts festival. Cathedral of the Incarnation is the Catholic cathedral for the Diocese of Tennessee and presided over by the current Catholic bishop of the diocese. This historic building is over 100 years old and structured as a typical Roman basilica with various additions and changes added over the decades. Catholic educational formation classes are available on Sundays and throughout the week according to the church's calendar. Middle Tennessee's largest, non-profit medical center offers a full range of services, including specialized treatment of allergies, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. The Women's Health Pavilion provides state-of-the-art services from child birth to cancer treatment. Baptist Hospital also takes care of the spiritual need of the patients, hence the Pastoral services on the campus.

The Islamic Center also operates the Nashville International Academy (NIA), formerly the Islamic School of Nashville. The Alumni Lawn of the Vanderbilt University is used for a variety of purposes. The university itself organizes most of its events on the lawn, which is located between the University Student Center and the Fine Arts Center. The University festivals are very popular, especially the annual 'Rites of Spring Music Festival' that features live performances by local, national as well as a number of world renowned artists. The wide area of the lawn makes it a great venue for hosting parties, and private gatherings alike.
West End United Methodist Church is one of the oldest churches in downtown Nashville. The church offers weekly educational ministries, bible studies and prayer opportunities for members and guests of all ages. The church serves the Nashville community through the West End Day School and Play School, offering both a full-scale daycare as well as a mother's day out program.
