Maintained and managed by the Amity & Woodbridge Historical Society, the Darling House Museum dates back to the 1770s. This house belonged to Thomas Darling, a prominent citizen of Connecticut. Currently, this house museum opens its doors on special occasions only, but you can also avail group tours with prior appointment.
The nature center, all of 43 acres, is home to over 300 different species of flora. Known to be the first urban nature center in the country, visitors have loads to do here. The Nature House exhibits a variety of local insects, reptiles and amphibians, while the Visitor Center has a birding area. Rangers arrange programs such as animal tracking and wildflower walks for those interested. Accommodation is available for those interested in staying over.
Nestled in the small town of Woodbridge, New England Brewing Company is a microbrewery that focuses on production of German-style beers. The ingredients like malt and hops, and even the grains are sourced from Germany, to retain the authenticity of the German flavors. But lagers are not the only libations available here, they also brew delicious ales. Visitors can schedule a tour around the facility, this also includes tasting of the beers. You can also take home a growler filled with your favorite brew.
Sports fans visiting New Haven have a reason to rejoice. The Southern Connecticut State University Athletics facilities - Jess Dow Field, the Ball Park, and James Moore Fieldhouse (which is the most important athletic complex here), will definitely keep you enthralled! The Whitneyville Congregational Church is a magnificent church site situated in the city of Hamden in the U.S. State of Connecticut. The church building was finely constructed and established in the year 1834, and has adapted the Greek Revival style of architecture. Coming under the purview of United Church of Christ, the church stands listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Beaver Ponds was once a wetland and considered useless. Today it is a picture of ball fields, swimming pools, playgrounds, and lush greenery. Bowen Field, a baseball stadium and Wilbur Cross High School are prominent structures in the park and attract the most visitors. The lagoons and trails on the property make it conducive for a nature walk. Fishing is also possible in the ponds.
