Astor Row is another name of the 130th Street. The row refers to the row houses on the south side of the street. All the houses are made in brick, have wooden porches, small gardens up front and cast iron fences. The feel and look of the place is very southern in fact and is the creation of John Jacob Astor and his son William Backhouse Astor. These houses were built during 1880 and 1883. Today it stands as a landmark in Harlem.
