    »Sondre Lerche

    September 23, 2014

Sometimes it can be discouraging to listen to a musician sing his or her heart out and receive little to no feedback in terms of listener appreciation. While New York-based singer/songwriter Sondre Lerche has never really amounted to much in terms of a mainstream following, he has been writing pensive songs since 2001 and is fairly well-respected amongst critics, despite his low profile. Often filling his songs with acute string arrangements and blooming horn accompaniments, Lerche has grown into a decently respected figure who's willing to incorporate elements of baroque pop and twee into his music to add a more worldly vibe to it.
