    Simply known as M4 by its legion of fans, MarchFourth Marching Band is a big band/performance troupe from Portland, Oregon. Comprised of somewhere between 20 and 30 members, M4 uses the instrumentation of a traditional marching band to play a unique hybrid of rock, funk, ska and jazz. The band is known for its freewheeling, wild live shows as well as its inclusive, cross-generational appeal.

    Roughly based on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, West Side Story brings the tragic tale of two star-crossed lover to 1950s New York where two gangs, the Jets and the Sharks, compete for power on the streets of the city. Tension rises between the rival groups when Maria, the sister of the Sharks' gang leader, and Tony, a member of the Jets, meet at a dance hall and instantly fall in love. Since its Broadway debut in 1957, West Side Story has endured as one of the great musical classics of the 20th century with a successful film version and numerous tours, remounts and lengthy runs on major stages.

    Ruffneck Constructivists is an exhibit curated by the artist Kara Walker. She invited 11 international artist including Deana Lawson, Lior Shvil, Dineo Seshee Bopape, Kendell Geers and Rodney McMillian. Showcased is a contemporary manifesto of urban architecture and its change. According to Walker, a Ruffneck Constructivists is a defiant shaper of the environment.

The exhibit showcases sculptures, films, paintings, writings and other kinds of media and types of contemporary art.
