    »Orange Mill Historic District

    The Orange Mill Historic District proudly boasts of having the only existing gunpowder mill in New York. Spread across an area of 200 acres (81 hectares), it is home to the Algonquin Park. The district has many 19th Century structures which display the Federal and Greek Revival styles of architecture. Due to its contribution to history, the district has been put up in the National Register of Historic Places.

    The Walden United Methodist Church is a beautiful red colored structure built in 1893. Constructed with the Victorian Gothic style of architecture, it makes use of asphalt, brick, wood and stone. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008 and continues to function as an active congregation from the time of its inception. Services and other religious ceremonies are routinely held at the church to bring together the neighboring community.
