Ale Industries started out as a small-time craft brewery in Concord, CA, however, it soon grew popular and eventually had to move into a bigger brewing space, on 10th Street in Oakland. Offering refreshing draft beers, that are now brewed on site, the place churns is equipped to produce around 20,000 barrels of beer every year! Covering an area of over 6000 square feet (560 square meters), the Fruitvale establishment also includes a taproom which can host up to 100 visitors. Open for tours between Fridays to Sundays, Ale Industries serves brews created without any use of fossil fuels, definitely worth a decko.

The New Easy quickly rose to be one of the city's best bars for artisan cocktails made with all fresh ingredients and some liquors you may have never even heard of before. The menu is full of inventive concoctions, although you can of course always go with the classics or one of their beers on tap. If you're feeling particularly adventurous you can ask one of the talented bartenders to create something just for you. They also serve up some delicious food dishes that go great with the libations. On Saturdays they serve up special cocktails made from ingredients bought at the Farmer's Market across the street.
