    Cinemateket is a highly quality-conscious film club that is a part of the Norwegian Film Institute Center. Its two screens, show both old and new classics, as well as films that are too specialized, artsy, or otherwise deemed unfit for municipal cinemas. Nights when viewers don't know which film is going to be shown, are especially popular. The club also hosts the annual Films From The South Festival. During holiday seasons, members can invite guests in on their membership cards.

    »Oslo Opera House

    The Oslo Opera House is a breathtaking venue and acts as the home of the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet. The Oslo Opera House is on the waterfront and has an innovative design, with a white marble roof and a glass wall. There are two theaters, and the main auditorium holds 1364 seats.     »Gamle Logen AS

    Inaugurated by King Carl Johan in 1839, Gamle Logen AS soon became popular with the city's artistic set. Creative minds like Edvard Grieg, Ole Bull, Johan Svendsen as of course, Henrik Ibsen spent much of their time here. Today, this Masonic lodge serves as a concert venue, banquet hall and conference center, for both public and private events. These include traditional café concerts.

    What was once used as the main stage for Norwegian National Opera is now the Folketeateret, a privately-owned theater and music venue in the heart of the city.     »Oslo Spektrum

    Norway's largest indoor concert hall can seat an audience of up to 10,000 people. Ever since its construction in 1990, Oslo Spektrum has been used for rock and pop concerts such as Bruce Springsteen, Elton John and Sting, big-time shows like Disney on Ice, political rallies, trade fairs and sports competitions. All the facilities are state of the art, as is the architecture of the building, designed by Guttorm Guttormsgaard.
